.....You will need.....

- eye liner (black)
- green liner (pencil or liquid)
- eye shadow (blues, greens, yellows, and white)
- angle brush and large face brush
- shading and blending brushes
- mascara
- brow pencil or liner
- foundation/pressed powder
- blush/contour powder
- lipstick

.....the process....
Step 1-
Using a sponge or a brush, apply foundation and/or powder all over face. Be sure to also include the lids of your eyes as it will help the shadows to stick.

Step 2-
Use a steady hand and apply eye liner as close to the lash line as possible. You can also continue by lining the bottom lid as well.

Step 3-
Now is a good time to pencil in or define your brows. This will help you to know how far out to blend your colors when you apply your shadow.

Step 4-
Using a medium sized shadow brush, sweep your first color across your eye lid from the middle extending out to the base of your brow. I prefer to use a dark green/blue color for this look. Shown here - MAC Parrot

Step 5-
Next, apply a more vibrant green color from the start of your lashes all the way out to the middle of your lid. Be sure to blend lightly into the first color. I prefer to use a yellow-green shadow with a smooth texture. Shown here - MAC Silly Goose

Step 6-
Using a bright, vibrant yellow shadow, apply at the edge of your eye lid and blend out into the other colors. Do not blend too much or you will simply mix the colors together. Just enough that it looks even. You want there to still be some color definition. Sweep lightly over the top, along the crease to be sure that all the colors fade out a bit. Shown here - MAC Chrome Yellow

Step 7-
Using a clean brush, apply a white or neutral shadow under the brow line, following it all the way down to the edge of your brow. This adds a bit of contrast to the bright shadows, and makes the eye appear larger. Shown here- MAC Gesso

Step 8-
Take a medium blending brush and lightly blend the white shadow into the colors.

Step 9-
Finish your top lid by adding a line of green liner close to the lash line and applying mascara. Wet n' Wild makes a beautiful, vibrant green liner. You can also use a pencil liner that has a smooth, metallic finish. You may just decide to forgo the liner and only apply mascara.

Step 10-
Use an angle brush to draw a thin line of shadow right under your eye liner to really make your eyes stand out. Start at your tear duct and continue all the way over to the base of your eye brow. A light yellow or gold shade really works best for this. Shown here - MAC Nylon

Step 11-
Use a large powder brush to sweep away any flecks of shadow that may have fallen on your face. Finish applying your foundation or powder.

Step 12-
Use a blush brush to contour your face or apply a light blush. Finish up with a lipstick or lipgloss. Orange, peach, or purple tones seem to compliment this look well.
