.Cyber Fish.

.....You will need....

- black liquid/pencil eye liner
- silver or gray liquid eye liner (optional)
- eye shadow (preferably something bright)
- slanted shadow brush
- sponge applicator or shadow brush
- white eye shadow
- eye brow pencil or liner
- pressed powder/ foundation

.....the process....

Step 1-
Apply foundation or white eye shadow to eye lids. This not only gives eye liner something to stick to, but also prevents smudging and allows eye shadow to be distributed evenly. Then line the eyes as close to the lash line as possible.
Step 2-
Apply a small amount of the colored shadow just over the eye lid. The more vibrant the color, the better this design will look. Some good choices include blues, purples, red, silvers, and anything else that is highly pigmented.
Step 3-
Now take a slanted brush....(if you don't know what that looks like go here)....and dip the brush in a bit of water, wipe excess wetness off, and dip it into the shadow. Start at the point of your eye and hold the brush so the longest point of the tip is facing your eye and with one steady stroke, draw a line that swings down to your cheek bone.

Step 4-
Using the same method as above, draw a similar line going up past your brow line. Together, the two lines should make a fishtail shape.

Step 5-
Now go in and draw a few smaller lines to fill in the design a bit. The whole idea is to make the shadow into a shape that looks something like the tail of a Japanese fighting fish. Be sure the you dip your brush into water before every line is drawn. It makes the shadow stick better and also intensifies the color.

Step 6-
If you have silver liner or any other liquid metallic liner, you can use it to highlight the shadow lines. Don't use too much, simply pick a few key lines and trace a small silver line directly above it. You can add little dots as well.

Step 7-
Pencil in or draw on eyebrows. I can not stress enough how important it is to shape and line your brows. It finishes your whole
look and helps to draw attention to the eyes.

Step 8-
Finish up the whole look by applying a few light coats of mascara. Don't curl or apply it too thickly, you don't want to take away from the curves of the "cyber fish tail".
