So you are interested in contributing to the make-up section? Great!

What it is:
The bulk of Squeakmachine.com is make-up and beauty. This is why I need your help in expanding this section. After all, one girl can't do it alone! You'll get tired of seeing my face over and over again and frankly, I can't come up with -all- the good ideas myself.
There are two things in this section that you may be interested in donating to. So look them over and decide what you might be able to help me with....
The first one is really easy!

Make-Up Pics:
Quite simply....I'm just looking for random images featuring extreme, eccentric, colorful, creative, and fun make-up. These pictures will be featured in a gallery and a select few will appear as examples in the make-up sections. Each picture will be credited and, if you have a webpage, linked as well.

What I am Looking For:
- pictures of fun, eccentric, colorful, and/or creative make-up
- pictures that are of good quality; vivid and clear
- images that are at least 300x300 pixels or larger (I will make some exceptions)
- pics that are shot at close range, so make-up is easy to see

What I am NOT looking for:
- pictures of light, everyday make-up (it takes more then a coat of mascara and lip-gloss to impress me!)
- fuzzy, poor quality pictures
- full body shots........just your face please! (unless of course, your make-up covers more then your face)
- nudity (let's try to keep this website PG rated!)
- images that are not of you or a consenting person! (If your friend is in the pic, please have her e-mail me a quick "okay" before sending the image)
- images that are not copy written to YOU

Tutorials:
The second thing I would like people to donate to is the tutorial section. This requires a bit more work on your part but is VERY very much appreciated. Those who donate to the tutorial section will earn a special place in my heart....as well as on my webpage. ;)
For starters, let me explain to you what a tutorial is.
The Make-up tutorials break down, step-by-step, how a certain "look" or cosmetic effect was achieved. Each tutorial consists of several pictures accompanied by text that explains how each step was done. The effect can be simple or more complex, it can take only 5-6 steps...or more then 10.
Below you will find links to two actual tutorials that will be featured on Squeakmachine.com so you can get an idea of how they will be set up.

How to go about donating tutorials:
First of all......you DO NOT have to set up the tutorial page. You don't even have to crop or edit your pictures. All I need from you is a few pics showing each step and a basic text run down of how it was done....and I'll do the rest. ;)
What you need to hand in:
1. Several pics portraying the steps it took to create the design or effect
    - pics should be between 200X200 pixels to 500X500 (I will crop them down later)
    - pics should clearly show how each step was achieved
    - pics should be clear and of decent quality....and well lit!
2. Brief text written explanations of how each step was done
    - label each step when you send it via e-mail.....ex. Step 1: blah blah blah, Step 2: lala la lalala la la, Step 3: djjdfjdhjdfurfhyrfbjhff, etc....
    - If you are unsure how to explain a step you did,  just write in the most basic explanation, I will bulk it up later
3. Pic of the make-up and tools used to create the look (optional)
4. Brief run-down of products and tools used in your tutorial.....be sure to include brand names and colors if possible!
5. Picture of the completed look......show off your pretty face! :)

So what's in it for me???
Since I pay for SqueakMachine.com out of my own pocket, I can not compensate you for your effort and donation with money. However, if your tutorial is accepted you will be given full credit. I plan to create a brief little "bio" at the bottom of each accepted tutorial page. It will introduce you to the world and give you a chance to put up your contact info or webpage info. Promote your store, modeling page, Ebay seller account, personal page, whatever! It is free advertising!
If your tutorial is accepted, I will contact you in greater detail about your bio.
