Those of you who are really artistic and/or creative may
take an interest to this section. I am looking for donations for my DIY Projects and Crafts section. As you can imagine, this covers a rather broad area. The possibilities are endless. I will pretty much accept almost anything into this section, the exception being: - Clothing projects or crafts (if you are looking to do some go here to find out more) - Stolen pics or images - Crafts that require difficult or expensive tools and utensils (cement mixers, table saws, dangerous chemicals, etc) I know I know, I take all the fun out of everything. ;) For an example of what the DIYs look like on my webpage check out the DIY Boxes Tutorial. This is one of the first tutorials I did but it clearly describes how to make the boxes, the materials used, and provides diagrams to make assembly easier. Don't worry, you don't have to set up the webpage, make a printer friendly version, or even crop the pics! I will do all that. Just send me all the info about the project and a couple of pics and you are good to go! Things to Included when you Submit your DIY Projects: - Pictures of during and after (If you don't have during, that is okies but try to submit at least two good pics of the finished project!) - A list of the materials used - The degree of difficulty; easy, medium, hard, etc......Keep in mind that DIY beginners may be using the site! - approximate time to complete project - a brief description of what the project is or is used for - A detailed description of how to do it - diagrams (if needed) Ideas: The Crafts and Projects can be almost anything! You can make something from scratch, embellish an existing item, anything! Some general ideas are: |

What YOU get: Since I pay for SqueakMachine.com out of my own pocket, I can not compensate you for your effort and donation with money. However, if your tutorial is accepted you will be given full credit. I plan to create a brief little "bio" at the bottom of each accepted tutorial page. It will introduce you to the world and give you a chance to put up your contact info or webpage info. Promote your store, modeling page, Ebay seller account, personal page, whatever! It is free advertising! If your tutorial is accepted, I will contact you in greater detail about your bio. Submissions: Please include all text and image files in one e-mail if possible. Send to: diy@squeakmachine.com |
